Cookies & Analytics

This website is designed to avoid non-essential cookies and advertising trackers while still allowing aggregate measurement of website traffic.

Last updated: 7 September 2026

01

Current cookie position

The securagen.ai website code does not set advertising cookies, marketing cookies or conventional analytics cookies. We therefore do not display an “Accept all / Reject” banner solely for analytics, because the current analytics configuration does not rely on analytics cookies.

We also do not include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, advertising SDKs, embedded Google Maps or third-party CAPTCHA scripts in the current public site.

02

Privacy-oriented analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate website usage. The current installation loads the Plausible script from plausible.io for the domain securagen.ai. According to Plausible, the hosted analytics product does not use cookies, browser local storage or persistent identifiers, does not store raw IP addresses, and processes visitor analytics data in the EU.

The analytics data is intended to answer questions such as which pages are visited, which sites refer traffic, what devices are used and whether a visit leads to the contact confirmation page. It is not used for behavioural advertising, cross-site profiling or remarketing.

The current implementation loads the analytics script directly from plausible.io, so the visitor’s browser makes a network request to that provider. Plausible is treated as a service provider/processor under the applicable contractual terms; the operational deployment checklist requires the relevant data-processing terms/DPA to be accepted before analytics is considered production-complete.

03

Hosting and security logs

Independent of website analytics, the web server and hosting infrastructure may record ordinary HTTP access, error and security information. These logs are used to deliver the website, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, investigate incidents and protect the service.

Server logs are not the same as browser cookies: they are generated on the server side when a request reaches the website.

If we add new trackers later

If the website is later changed to use technologies that store or access non-essential information on a visitor’s device — for example Google Analytics cookies, advertising pixels or remarketing tools — those technologies must be re-assessed before deployment. Where consent is legally required, they will remain disabled until the visitor makes a valid choice and a consent-management interface will be provided.

Operational rule:

No developer or marketing provider should add a new third-party tracker, tag manager, embedded widget or advertising technology to securagen.ai without first updating the technical cookie inventory and the relevant privacy notice.
